The Complete Engineering & Design for the proposed project is proposed to be carried out in sequential steps/ stages seeking approval of CLIENT at each level so as to make sure that the facility being designed is as per the User requirements.

HVAC & Clean Room

  • Prepare concept note giving details of the entire system and design HVAC/Clean room system complying with requirements and consisting of following activities
  • Room data sheet giving dimensional details of room, temperature and humidity requirements, equipment heat load, occupancy, cleanliness classification and required minimum air change rate.
  • Air handling zoning strategy.
  • Room design criteria with headloads.
  • Preliminary requirement of chilled water, steam, hot water, electric heaters

Piping

  • Overview/summary of utility load requirements including peak flow, daily flow, spare capacity for future, minimum operating pressure etc for all utilities required in the plant.
  • Design parameters for each utility system.
  • Preparation of Preliminary Flow Diagrams for each utility.
  • Preliminary Pipe rack routing for major Pipe rack.
  • Basis of Design documents for Mechanical piping and Insulation Work. Clean Utilities Generation & Distribution System
  • Design parameters for treatment, generation and distribution of various types of clean utilities (as applicable).
  • Capacity calculation for various clean utility generation system (as applicable).

Electrical

  • Preliminary load estimate.
  • Single line diagram indicating the number of panels and distribution boards.
  • Preliminary power distribution strategy.
  • Requirement of emergency power and UPS.
  • Lighting strategy – internal and external.
  • Design, Engineering of complete electrical distribution in the plant from a single HT source, including
  • Prepare Single line diagrams, power, earthing, and lightning protection layout, cable schedules, cable tray layout.
  • System requirements and schematic drawings for Emergency power supply, UPS system & telephone and LAN system.
  • Design the lighting system for the complete plant.
  • MTO and specifications for motors, light fittings, cables, low voltage and high voltage panels, push button stations, socket outlets, substation equipment, etc.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings for transformers, diesel generator sets, distribution and control panels, lighting distribution boards, motors, cables, variable frequency drives, UPS, etc.
  • Design lightening protection system.
  • Prepare tender specifications for electrical Installation work laying down the methods of erection, testing, start-up, etc,
  • Verification & approval of data/ layout prepared & submitted by contractor.
